The best way to see Oxford and its beautiful surroundings is on a bicycle. In fact, many locals use bikes to get around because Oxford is not the most car-friendly place. The bicycle tour route can vary according to any special requests but generally, the itinerary is as follows.
Depart from Oxford via bike, and follow a relaxing scenic route along the Thames River path to visit a picturesque village with thatched cottages, a medieval church, and scenic views. You will also see many of Oxford university's famous sights as we introduce stories about the university colleges & famous events or personalities.
It is also possible to schedule a pub stop for refreshments and, regardless of the route, you can gain insight into how a boat trip along this route in 1862 inspired Lewis Carroll's story-telling of 'Alice in Wonderland'.

What’s Not Included
- Entry to a college is not included on cycle tours- please instead book one of our walking tours, if you want to see inside a college. We will however cycle past and stop and see several colleges from the outside.
- Helmets are not obligatory to wear in the UK, so if you wish to be provided with a helmet, please inform me, when you book. That said, any children will always be provided with helmets, so if you have children, please advise ages.
- In case of very high winds or heavy rain forecast, I may inform you that the tour is being cancelled and refunded or you have the option to reschedule the date up to 24 hours notice before the tour starts or to replace the bike tour with a walking tour etc.

Meeting point
Meet your guide wearing a red lanyard outside the currently empty shop at 15 Broad Street, Oxford. You should also see a red sign board on the street outside. The meeting point is located next door to the Oxfam shop.
